The WASR-M Rifle is 9mm pistol caliber carbine built on the AK-47 (AKM) platform. The WASR type rifle has been produced since 1963 at the Cugir Arsenal in Romania. The Wasr-M includes modern furniture, a slant flash hider on the barrel, and a low 7.7 pound weight.
